Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Develop new product formulations ensuring superior taste, quality, and nutritional value with keen costs.
• Experiment with flavors, textures, and ingredients to cater to diverse consumer preferences.
• Reengineering of product/processes.
• Trails with various ingredients
• Vendor development towards productivity improvement projects
• Scaling of new products from Lab Scale NPD to Plant trails/commercialization.

Process Optimization

• Improve production processes for cost efficiency, consistency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless implementation of new formulations.

Market Trends & Innovation

• Stay updated on global trends in cookie manufacturing, health-conscious products and emerging ingredients.
• Lead the introduction of innovative technologies and product concepts to the market.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all R&D initiatives comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and other product assessments.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to align product development with company goals.
• Support customer feedback analysis to enhance product offerings.

Experience and Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in food science, food technology or related fields.
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in R&D, preferably in the cookie/bakery manufacturing industry.
• Strong expertise in ingredient functionality, formulation development, and sensory evaluation.
• Hands of experience with production equipment and processes.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and food safety standards in India.
