Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer -I

Job Summary :

The SR Engineer will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support scalable and reliable platforms. This role involves working with container orchestration, monitoring tools, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments and operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Be part of building a platform from scratch that can handle scale.

- Dockerizing and orchestrating with Kubernetes (K8S).

- Work on Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Snowflake, and Kafka clusters.

- Implement best practices, challenge the status quo, and stay updated on industry and technical trends to ensure the team delivers best-in-class work.

- Manage capacity, build security into every layer, and optimize costs.

- Monitor at scale using Prometheus and similar tools.

- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system reliability.

- Implement secure networking, key management, user management, access management, and image management.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Experience with AWS platform and Kubernetes (K8S).

- Strong knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals.

- Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting languages.

- A mindset focused on automating tasks and processes.

- Awareness of Cloud Security concepts and best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD practices, deployment patterns, and relevant toolsets.

- Knowledge of observability practices and toolchains (monitoring, metrics, logging, alerts, and tracing).

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
