Executive- Purchase

Role & responsibilities

1. Procurement Management:

• Source, negotiate, and finalize contracts with suppliers.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and services as per requirements.

2. Supplier Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with agreements.

3. Cost Optimization:

• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate vendor quotes to achieve the best possible pricing and quality.

4. Inventory Control:

• Coordinate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitor and report on inventory performance to minimize wastage and shortages.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with production, quality control, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational goals.
• Resolve procurement-related disputes and delays promptly.

7. Reporting:

• Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and suggest mitigation strategies.
