Job Title / Role : Lead Planner - Sales & Operations (Mfg - O9) - Planning

Education Qualification: MBA, Engineeringbackground
Required Experience : 10 years
Position Reports to: HoD - Business Planning

Purposeof the role :
S & OP(Sales & Operations) Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that anorganization can effectively balance customer demand with operationalcapabilities, optimize resource allocation and make informed decisions to drivethe company's success.
RoleDescription(KRAs):
1. Drive Sales & OperationsPlanning process across the entire Value Chain - ranging from Dealers /Distributors to Production & Dispatch.
2. Define, measure, track and monitorthe key S & OP metrics, Value Realization Office metrics and continuouslywork towards achieving the targeted KPIs including support on business impact, growth, inventory, CAME(Cost after marketing expenditures), market share.
3. Guide final decision on trade-offsbased on Strategic & operational inputs and drive RCA analysis / drivecorrective actions and continuous improvements.
4. O9 Implementation - To bringteamstogether : D & AI, Business, third party teams by ensuring communicationflows across all nodes including opening of dealer window, batch runs, calendaradherance etc.
5. Industry forecast fidelity - Toensure cadence between Business planning and D & AI teams, create triggers inO9 system before and after Data Upload, Drive business team to look at theforecast data and develop the model further.
6. Industry forecast - To consolidateopportunities and risk assessment, dispatch team inputs and sales team inputsand preparation of decks for stakeholders review
7. Creating view of current capacitydata (plant level / variant level) and along with projection and alignment of capacity requirement for thefuture, consolidation of demand data from stakeholders etc.
8. Identify key improvement areas anddevelop prognosis to drive policy deployment across cross functional teams.
9. Track gap to billing and retailvolumes and develop mitigation plans to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
10. Create forecast models - consolidateinputs, interaction with external stakeholders, validation of results withbusiness users etc.
Functionalcompetency
Strong fundamentals in Supply chainplanning and excellent analytical skills.
To possess business processknowledge of demand & supply planning, dispatch planning, productionplanning, supplier planning and Sales & Operations.
Deep understanding of org supplychain and market dynamics.
Working knowledge of S & OPDigital platform / tools.
Ability to take critical businessdecisions and achieve objectives
