The SAP Logistics Consultant will be responsible for the design and implementation of the logistics processes in the S4 HANA migration. This role will focus on defining global logistics processes, translating business requirements into system specifications, and ensuring seamless integration with other modules within the organization. The consultant will lead the effort to prepare a global process template for rollout across multiple entities. Position SAP COE. Expert Logistics Location IND, Bangalore, KA
How Youll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities
Process Mapping
Collaborate with business process owners to map and define global logistics processes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Global Template Development
Lead the design and configuration of logistics processes, including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Transportation Management.
SAP Logistics Configuration
Configure SAP logistics modules (MM, WM, EWM) to meet organizational requirements and best practices.
Data Migration
Oversee the migration of logistics-related data from ECC 6 to S4 HANA, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Integration Management
Ensure integration with other SAP modules (SD, PP, QM) and external systems (e.g., TMS solutions) for end-to-end visibility.
Testing and Validation
Develop and execute testing strategies for logistics processes, ensuring that requirements are met prior to go-live.
Training and Documentation
Provide training to end-users and document logistics processes and configurations for future reference.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and leverage S4 HANA capabilities to optimize logistics operations.
Key Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. SAP Logistics Certification preferred.
Experience
12-15 years of experience in SAP Logistics, with at least two full-cycle implementations. Experience in global rollouts is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SAP logistics modules, including MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
Integration Skills
Deep understanding of integration points with other SAP modules, especially SD (Sales and Distribution) and PP (Production Planning).
Communication Skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels, translating complex requirements into actionable tasks.
Analytical Skills
Strong analytical skills to assess and improve logistics processes while meeting business objectives.
SAP Tools
Familiarity with SAP tools like SAP Fiori, SAP Solution Manager, and reporting tools relevant to logistics.

Experience with S4 HANA logistics capabilities, including real-time data analytics and advanced planning functions.

Knowledge of global supply chain practices and regulations affecting logistics operations.

Strong expertise in inventory management techniques and systems, including demand planning and forecasting.
Reporting and Analytics
Proficiency in leveraging SAP analytics tools for logistics reporting and decision-making.
