The SAP Factory Solutions Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of factory operations and manufacturing processes within the S4 HANA framework. This role focuses on developing a global process template for factory solutions, ensuring effective integration with other SAP modules, and facilitating seamless rollout across multiple manufacturing sites. How Youll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities
Process Mapping
Collaborate with business process owners to define and map factory processes, aligning them with overall business objectives.
Global Template Development
Lead the design and configuration of factory solutions, including production planning, execution, and quality management.
SAP Factory Solutions Configuration
Configure SAP modules (WM, SD, MM) to support factory operations and best practices.
Data Migration
Oversee the migration of factory-related data from ECC 6 to S4 HANA, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Integration Management
Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD) and external systems (IoT devices, MES solutions).
Testing and Validation
Develop and execute testing strategies for factory processes, validating functionality against business requirements.
Training and Documentation
Provide training to end-users and document factory processes and configurations for operational continuity.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements leveraging S4 HANA capabilities.
Key Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields. SAP Manufacturing Certification is a plus.
Experience
12-15 years of experience in SAP Factory Solutions with at least two full-cycle implementations. Experience in global rollouts is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SAP modules, including WM (Warehouse management along with deep understanding of SD (Sales and distribution), MM (Materials management). Good overview of PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
Integration Skills
In-depth understanding of integration points with other SAP modules and external systems for manufacturing operations.
Communication Skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels, translating complex requirements into actionable tasks.
Analytical Skills
Strong analytical skills to assess and improve logistics processes while meeting business objectives.
SAP Tools
Familiarity with SAP tools like SAP Fiori, SAP Solution Manager, and reporting tools relevant to manufacturing.

S4 HANA Factory Solutions
Experience with S4 HANA manufacturing capabilities, including real-time data analytics and advanced planning functions.
Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge of lean principles and methodologies applicable to factory operations.
IoT Integration
Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and their application in manufacturing.
Reporting and Analytics
Proficiency in using SAP analytics tools for manufacturing performance reporting and decision-making.
