Back-End Engineer

• Write code that is clear, effective, and maintainable while adhering to coding standards and best practices
• Develop the scheduling engine on the back-end
• Construct an efficient SaaS dashboard
• Utilize OpenAI APIs to create email, Slack, and other UIs that use natural language.
• Take part in code reviews to guarantee the performance, reliability, and quality of your code
• Debug problems and solve them, offering quick answers to technical problems
• Keep abreast of the most recent developments in scheduling, AI, and cloud platform technology

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Prolific experience working extensively with Node.js and AWS
• Demonstrable experience with API integrations, especially with Google Calendar and Auth0
• Extensive experience working with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and Lambda Layers
• Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively
• Some understanding of OpenAI APIs is desirable
• Nice to have some experience working with API integrations like Microsoft Teams/Outlook/Calendar, Zoom, Calendly, Slack, etc.
• Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
