Job Description
- Write well-structured, modularized, and clean code
- Expand and optimize the data and data pipeline architecture
- Strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience
- 5+ years of software or database development experience (or equivalent proficiency)
- Proficiency in Python, asynchronous events/triggers
- Understanding of Classes, decorators, and inherited objects
- Knowledge of optimization and profiling
- Proficiency with FastAPI/Alembic/SQLAlchemy
- Good knowledge of advanced systems design and advanced relational database
- Conversant with End-to-end ETL and containerized applications
- Experience in API Development (GraphQL / REST)
- Familiarity with high-performance computing
- Demonstrable experience with raw SQL/SQL command line
- Expertise in scripted database migrations and object-oriented translated models (ORM)
- Proficient understanding of DevOps/CloudOps processes
- Good domain knowledge for why things break
- Working knowledge of Linux on GCP/AWS or equivalent
- Familiarity with IAM / roles of least permissions
- Sound monitoring, Alerting, networking, and security experience
