Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join our

dynamic growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract drafting,

vetting, and project management, with a strong background in supporting procurement

processes. As Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance,

managing legal risks, and providing strategic legal advice to support the company's operations

and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Drafting and Vetting:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including supplier

agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other

commercial contracts.

• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations and align with

the companys objectives and risk management policies.

• Provide legal advice on contractual terms and conditions, mitigating risks, and

ensuring favourable outcomes for the Company.

2. Project Management:

• Oversee and manage legal aspects of the manufacturing facility setup, including

environmental compliance, and regulatory approvals.

• Coordinate with various stakeholders including project managers, engineers,

and government authorities to ensure timely completion of legal requirements.

• Maintain and update project documentation and ensure compliance with legal

standards and internal policies.

3. Procurement Support:

• Assist the procurement team in drafting and reviewing procurement contracts,

purchase orders, and other related documents.

• Provide legal advice on procurement strategies, vendor negotiations, and

dispute resolution.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, and monitor

legal risks associated with procurement activities.

4. Liaising with Regulators or Government Authorities:

• Establish and maintain contacts with regulatory bodies, government authorities,

and industry associations.

• Represent the Company in discussions and negotiations with regulatory

agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and national laws, and the

schemes.

• Monitor and communicate regulatory changes that may impact the Company's

operations and provide strategic advice on compliance and risk management.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the

Company's operations.

• Advise on regulatory compliance requirements and assist in obtaining necessary

permits and licenses.

• Conduct legal audits and ensure compliance with corporate governance

practices.

6. General Legal Support:

• Provide general legal support to various departments within the Company,

including HR, finance, and operations.

• Handle legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration as required.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and

ensure efficient legal operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably in the
• manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance in India.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.
• Fluency in English, Hindi and Gujarati (preferred).
