Role & responsibilities

• Providing accurate and timely legal counsel to stakeholders on a wide range of legal topics, including contractual matters, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, such as agreements, terms & conditions, notices, letters, etc.
• Maintain playbook of model clauses that can be agreed in legal agreements and drive all new as well as renewal agreements are negotiated in line with the playbook; or relevant authorizations are taken for deviations.
• Monitor laws & regulations applicable to business and advise on internal policies, processes and practices to remain in full compliance.
• Maintain repository of key terms and obligations agreed in various client and/or vendor contracts. Educate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with such key terms and obligations.
• Analyzing risk, obligations and providing solutions to minimize legal risks.
• Managing disputes/litigation matters and developing effective strategies to resolve legal issues and protect the company's rights.

Preferred candidate profile

8+ years of experience in contract management role.

Well-versed in legal terminology and operations.

Strong understanding of corporate law and legal defense strategies.

Knowledge of current legislation practices.

Critical thinking and Problem-solving mindset.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
