Decimal Technologies - Project Manager - Agile Methodologies (7-12 yrs)

Job Summary :

This role is for a Project Manager who will oversee the development of software projects through teams of 8-12 members.

You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial client engagement to delivery and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Planning, tracking, and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.

- Resource allocation and task distribution to team members.

- Managing change requests and ensuring project scope remains within defined boundaries.

- Leading and motivating a development team including developers, QA testers, and release management personnel.

- Working with clients to understand their needs, gather requirements, and obtain necessary sign-offs.

- Understanding of technical and product architecture concepts.

- Experience with iterative and agile development methodologies.

- Ensuring risk identification and mitigation strategies are in place.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or Technology (B. Tech)

- Minimum 7-12 years of relevant work experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Lead or Manager

- Strong team management skills

- Understanding of technical and product architecture concepts

- Experience with client interaction and communication

- Knowledge of iterative and agile development methodologies (e., Scrum, Kanban)

- Experience with Java, web services, and PL/SQL
