Timing : 9 PM to 6 AM

Job Description:

• Windows Server - Expert level (Technically L3 and above)
• Azure Active Directory - Expert level (Technically L3 and above)
• Vmware - Expert level (Technically L3 and above)
• O365 - Expert level (Technically L3 and above)
• Storage - Intermediate is fine with SAN/NAS/Pure/Rubrik/SRM/DRS (L2 level)
• Either of scripting tool is fine like Powershell, Python, or etc., (L2 level)

Working with an international support team, the Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily administration, implementation, performance tuning and recovery procedures for enterprise systems, both on-premises and cloud based. Serves as a subject matter expert in system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Systems include (but not limited to): Microsoft Azure IaaS, Office 365 (including Azure AD Premium, MFA, Information Protection), Cisco UCS, VMWare, MS Windows and Linux Server OS, SAN/NAS and enterprise backup services and utilities (Pure Storage and Rubrik data backup platforms). General knowledge of ERP and integration platforms and infrastructure configurations (SAP, Dell Boomi).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure hardware, software, and cloud computing environment by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities. *
• Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leading problem-solving efforts often involve outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations. *
• Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems, SAN/NAS, backup/recovery services and other components. *
• Supports both on-prem AD and Entra (Azure AD) and PKI certificate environments.
• Deploys and Manages cloud infrastructure in MS Azure and other public clouds.
• Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources. *
• Enforces established procedures and governance policies to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature, and user abuse. *
• Maintains procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications. *
• Develops tools, procedures, and training/coaching sessions for Client Support and Applications Development staff to assist with work. *

Additional qualifications:

• 7+ years experience supporting Microsoft Technologies (MS Windows Server, ADDS/AAD, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, SCOM)
• 5+ Years experience supporting the following:
• MS Azure IaaS/PaaS
• MS Office 365 (EOL, One Drive, SharePoint, MS Teams collaboration and voice)
• Linux system administration (RHEL experience preferred)
• Cisco UCS hardware administrationA
• VMware concepts, including ESX, SRM and NSX
• NAS/SAN administration
• Azure cloud systems administration
• Basic network administration relative to all technologies above
• Enterprise backup and recovery procedures
• Good scripting and automation experience with IaC and Configuration management tools such Terraform, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc. is preferred.
• Azure or AWS certification at a solutions architect level with large deployment and management background is a PLUS
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and network security tools and practices
• Ability to: Plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures; communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing; perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously.
• Experience in administration of ERP and Integrations platforms (SAP, Dell Boomi)
