Job Description


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead our sales initiatives in the Food Service vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and expanding our market presence across designated regions in India.


Base Location- Pune, Mumbai.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the Food Service sector.
  • Ensure the successful execution of sales plans and initiatives within the assigned region.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team within the region.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to enhance the team's performance.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the Food Service industry.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

4. Market Analysis and Business Development:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the Food Service vertical.
  • Drive business development efforts to expand the company's market share within the region.

5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics within the region.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and forecasts for management review.

6.Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales budget for the region, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Work to achieve cost-effective results in line with organizational goals.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within the Food Ingredients industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the Food Service sector and its dynamics in the Indian market.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Strategic thinking and planning.
  • Networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ Field Assist software.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Candidate will report to ZSM or NSM in his zone.
