Production Planning Engineer- Repair& maintenance machine shop (Dubai)

Role & responsibilities

Proficient in reading engineering drawings and through knowledge of process methods to prepare the job process sheet based on the machine tool resources.

Able to allotting machine tool resources in order to understanding the operations/machining hours to meet the delivery targets.

Good in general technical understanding, Knowledge of tooling's , measuring instruments , fabrication, welding and assembly.

Accurate, systematic and have a good sense of order in terms of keep track, expedite and communicate the job delivery. Good knowledge of IT tools and systems within area of responsibility.

Knowledge and work experience in API products such as API Spec Q1, API Spec 5CT, API Spec 7-1, API Spec 8C will be an added advantage. Basic knowledge of CNC machining / Programming /operating will be added an advantage.

Candidates who can start immediately will be prioritized.

Preferred candidate profile

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 8 years working experience as a Production planning engineer in reputed conventional /Repair & Maintenance Machine shop . Experience should be in machine shop and through knowledge in machining (conventional & CNC machining) , process methods in order to plan the job for execution. Prefer experience in repair / refurbishment of industrial machineries in the field of such as cement plant ,steel plant ,oil & gas , power generation, marine and other heavy industries.
