Role & responsibilities

Monitor & Manage Vehicles

• Ensuring Maintenance and Managing Vehicle performance
• Ensuring timely updating of Maintenance data
• Coordinating with procurement to send vehicle for refurbishment
• Regular Monitoring the Insurance for of vehicles assigned

Plan & Schedule Maintenance:

• Ensure regions prepare monthly report of preventive maintenance plan vs. actual
• Discuss and finalize the plan with Cluster Leader
• Identify and club the preventive and predictive maintenance Capture the predictive maintenance details from CL/ ME
• Ensuring regions have have captured the reasons of nonperformance to maintenance schedule and reschedule maintenance activities

Preventive Maintenance:

• Plan & prepare preventive maintenance plan to regions
• Monitor the execution of preventive maintenance schedule
• Define PJP and ensure adherence to PJP
• Ensure regions update records and maintain a maintenance log book
• Prepare weekly / monthly report of maintenance work done

Preventive Maintenance: Service Centre:

• Ensure regions refer vehicle information database
• Constant check for service maintenance schedule and inform Maintenance head for approval from Project Head
• Plan for possible dates for service maintenance schedule
• Focus on reducing R&M as far as possible and ensure minimum off road time for the vehicles
• Discuss with Cluster Leader and Maintenance Executive for any additional work to be done
• Identify the service centers for servicing
• Coordinate with regional Maintenance Supervisors for vehicle transfer to identified service center
• Receive quotes from service center for maintenance work and liaison with the dealers and vendors.
• Manage Approvals for work as per policy
• Ensure regional team instruct service center for maintenance and agreed on terms of conditions.
• Ensure Regional teams are complaint

Breakdown Maintenance:

• Analyze reason for breakdown. Prepare report in case of Accident breakdown
• Receive quotes from service center for maintenance work
• Receive and verify the invoice copy and confirm with Cluster Leader
• Forward invoice to accounts
• Update records and prepare report

Maintain & Manage Data:

• Ensure regions develop and update vehicle data
• Ensure regions maintain Job cards for each ambulance regularly& master records
• Provide inputs on preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance details
• Provide inputs on standard task list
• Maintain Vehicle wise Maintenance details
• Insurance claim handling in case of accidents along with superiors

Team Management:

• To guide & develop team Pan India & ensuring training for the maintenance staff.
• Support Maintenance Head to develop training module for other department to help train the concerned staff for ensuring optimum vehicle performance & minimizing maintenance expenses
• Set KRAs for team Pan India & review performance on regular basis & guide for the optimum performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10 years + in Fleet maintenance or After Sales- Service function
• Good negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct the team
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prepare Excel reports and maintain accurate records.
