About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Co-Fund Manager / Fund Manager to join a leading investment firm. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a passion for capital markets and investment management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity investment, mutual funds, and a specialization in midcap, smallcap, and flexicap strategies.

As a Fund Manager, you will play a key role in managing and growing the investment portfolio, creating value for investors, and driving strategic decisions in line with the companys vision. You will be responsible for researching and evaluating potential investment opportunities and managing risk across various asset classes.

• Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the investment portfolios, focusing on equities, mutual funds, midcap, smallcap, and flexicap funds.
  
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis on market trends, industry sectors, and financial instruments to guide investment decisions.
  
• Investment Strategy: Develop, implement, and adjust investment strategies based on market conditions and fund objectives.
  
• Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio, ensuring the alignment with the client s risk appetite and investment goals.
  
• Reporting and Performance Tracking: Regularly track fund performance and provide comprehensive reports to senior management and investors.
  
• Team Leadership: Collaborate and mentor the junior investment team to ensure the funds objectives are met effectively.
  
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their investment needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  
• Compliance Regulations: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for all fund management activities.
  

• Educational Qualifications:
  

  • CA (Chartered Accountant)
    
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
    

• Experience:
  

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in investment management, with a strong background in managing equity portfolios, mutual funds, and exposure to midcap, smallcap, and flexicap strategies.
    
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale portfolios, particularly in the equity space and mutual funds.
    
  • Strong understanding of risk management, asset allocation, and capital markets.
