Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

The Manager / Sr. Manager - Accounts will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone/consolidated financial statements, along with MIS reporting. These reports will support management in decision-making. The role also includes coordinating internal, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, mitigating risks, and enhancing organizational transparency. By streamlining financial operations and providing actionable insights, the incumbent will contribute to maintaining governance and operational efficiency within the organization.

Key Deliverables:
  1. Standalone / Consolidated Financials

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (standalone/consolidated) in compliance with AS/IND AS accounting standards.
  2. Controlling GL Accounting / Bill Booking

    • Manage the General Ledger (GL) accounting and ensure the accuracy of bill booking for financial reporting purposes.
  3. Transfer Pricing and Tax Audit Data Preparation

    • Prepare data for transfer pricing and tax audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  4. Income Tax-Related Activities

    • Oversee Advance Tax, TDS, and Tax Return filing to ensure timely tax payments, filings, and regulatory compliance.
  5. Cost Audit

    • Review and analyze cost-related data, ensuring transparency and alignment with regulatory requirements.
  6. GST Compliances

    • Ensure compliance with GST laws, including timely filing of returns and adherence to indirect tax regulations.
  7. Banking Activities

    • Manage daily banking activities, ensuring smooth financial operations and effective management of cash flow.
  8. Working Capital Management

    • Oversee working capital management to maintain liquidity and ensure the efficient use of financial resources to support operations.
  9. Management Reporting (Monthly P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Key Ratios)

    • Prepare and present monthly management reports (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Key Ratios) to senior management to aid decision-making.
  10. Audit Coordination

    • Coordinate and provide data for internal, statutory, and bank audits, ensuring proper compliance and addressing audit queries efficiently.
  11. Insurance-Related Activities

    • Handle insurance-related activities, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage and timely claims to mitigate financial risks.
  12. ROC Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory compliance with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) requirements.


Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in SAP for financial operations is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS/IND AS), GST, Tax Audits, and Transfer Pricing regulations.
