Job Title: Billing Executive

Job Summary:

The Billing Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for diagnostic services provided by Tricorder Diagnostics. The role involves managing patient invoices, verifying insurance details, coordinating with various departments for accurate billing, and maintaining records for audit purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Generation: Generate accurate invoices for diagnostic tests and services rendered by the company.
  • Billing System Management: Ensure that billing systems are updated with accurate patient information, services, and payment details.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage, co-pays, and other billing-related information with insurance companies.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter data into the billing system, including patient information, test results, and payment status.
  • Coordination with Departments: Liaise with the operations, laboratory, and accounts departments to ensure all charges are correctly recorded and invoiced.
  • Payment Follow-ups: Follow up on outstanding payments from patients or insurance companies to ensure timely receipt of funds.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of bills and payments to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Reports and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate billing reports for internal and external audits.
  • Customer Support: Address any billing inquiries or disputes from patients, customers, or insurance companies in a professional and timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in billing or accounts payable, ideally in a healthcare or diagnostic industry.
  • Familiarity with medical billing codes, insurance processes, and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, billing software, and accounting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software.
  • Experience with insurance claims processing and follow-up.
  • Previous experience working in a diagnostic laboratory or healthcare setting is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Office-based environment.
  • Regular working hours with occasional overtime as needed .Role & responsibilities

Work location : Kahajaguda, Dilsukhnagar-Hyderabad.
