Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

1) Quality Check

a) Stage wise In-process inspection to be done

b) In case of any issue regarding mis match from design or any quality related issue raise NCR to production

c) Maintain and update all records required for in-process inspection

d) Periodic process and skill assessment/Audit to identify gaps and TNI

e) Ensure systematic analysis through Quality tools and closure of NCRs

Final Inspection/ Client Inspection

a) ITO to be completed before CI 

b) Conduct successful Customer Inspections without any NC and CSI score must be 10/10.

c) ITO & CI MOM compliance to be done within 2 days

3) Incoming Inspection

a) Assist in Incoming inspection as and when required

b) Supplier assessment and audit for selection and annual rating based on performance

4) Documentation

Pre CI Documents must be ready before CI

5) Training

Analysis of NCRs & give necessary trainings to TAs

6) Analysis

Internal NCR, CI NCR & Customer Care points Monthly analysis (RCA & CAPA)

7) Testing Kit

Prime responsibility of Maintenance, Calibration and upgradation of all testing equipment.

8) Candidate should have detailed knowledge on the following

a) IEC61439, IEC 62271 and relevant standards for Electrical Switchboards

b) Switchboard Type Test and routine tests

c) Manufacturing and testing Process of MV Electrical Switchboards

d) Testing of LV Switchboards

e) Protection Relays Operations & Testing (IDMT, O/C, E/F, Differential etc.)

f) Smart Panel concepts including Communication Protocols i.e. Modbus, Ethernet etc.

g) Analytical tools --7QC Tools, DMAIC, FMEA, RCA/CAPA, Fishbone, 8D etc.

h) IMS Procedure - QMS, EMS, OHSAS etc.

i) Good Leader for Handling team of Engineers and Technicians for Quality Departments

j) Good Communications skill for Customer Handling
