This is for L4 Network Support Engineer) We are seeking a Network Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing circuit installations, upgrades, disconnects, and network monitoring while ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires collaboration with various teams and coordination of activities to support network operations effectively. Key Responsibilities: International Network Operations Circuit Management Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze logs and traffic for ongoing or previously reported issues to identify and resolve circuit-related problems. Monitor circuit and interface utilization, using tools to proactively resolve network alerts. Installations and Upgrades: Coordinate all activities related to circuit installations and upgrades, ensuring timely execution and minimal disruption to services. Manage circuit disconnects and coordinate testing for MPLS circuits with local office resources. Network Configuration DHCP Management: Add and remove DHCP scopes, including special options for telephony and VDI systems. Export DHCP data for migration planning. DNS Management: Add and remove DNS records (A, CNAME, TXT, MX) as required. Export domain data to support migration planning. Network Access Control (ISE/NAC): Add MAC addresses for special equipment (e.g., cameras, printers, thin clients) to their respective groups. Add new network devices for authentication and provide support in case of failures. Monitoring and Support Network Monitoring: Configure SNMP for effective monitoring and management of network performance. Provide monitoring support during broadcast events (e.g., Town Halls) to ensure connectivity and performance. Incident Support: Provide immediate support in case of network failures and assist in troubleshooting efforts. Network Optimization and Security Optimization: Develop and implement a decommissioning plan for Riverbed appliances. Security Advisory: Resolve, apply, or remove any configurations that present vulnerabilities in the network. Upgrade and install patches to fix any identified vulnerabilities. Routing and Switching Routing Management: Add, change, or remove BGP/OSPF settings, including route mapping and prefix lists. Manage static routes and export routing information for migration planning. Switching Management: Add, change, or remove VLANs and manage switchport activations/deactivations. Perform quarterly local password changes for security compliance. Voice and Telephony / Voice Management: Assign Direct Inward Dialing (DID) numbers for users and generate call reports. Configure new SIP trunks with providers and create or change auto attendants or call queues. Export Microsoft Teams data for migration planning and support SSL certificate updates on AudioCodes. SDWAN and Wireless Management (SDWAN Support): Collaborate with Cookinham on SDWAN-related tasks and provide support in case of failures. Wireless Configuration: Assign users to extended guest access and configure access points and controllers. Manage WLAN configurations and perform quarterly passphrase changes for LMConnect. Branch Office Operations (Branch Coordination): Coordinate all activities related to circuit installs/upgrades, SDWAN device builds/configurations, and network device deployments. Manage IP address assignments and telephony enablement for branch office operations. Provide Day 1 support for newly established branch offices. Open Source ONOS Monitoring and Support Dell Routers Management Routing Monitoring: o Monitor hardware health and performance metrics of Dell routers. o Conduct interface monitoring, focusing on errors, discards, and utilization levels. o Perform interface resets as needed to maintain optimal performance. o Provide support and troubleshooting during network failures. Dell Switches Management Switching Monitoring: o Monitor hardware health and performance of Dell switches. o Analyze interface statistics to track errors, discards, and utilization rates. o Execute interface resets to address performance issues. o Offer support in case of failures, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. NARRS and ONOS Controller Management Platform Health Monitoring: o Conduct health monitoring of the NARRS and ONOS controller platforms, focusing on CPU, memory, and resource consumption. o Investigate and resolve platform performance issues, collaborating with engineering teams as necessary. Security Management Vulnerability Management: o Identify, resolve, apply, or remove any configurations that present security vulnerabilities within the network. o Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices. Monitoring and Fault Management DataDog/Splunk/NARRS Monitoring: o Utilize monitoring tools (DataDog, Splunk, NARRS) for fault identification and triage at Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels. o Proactively resolve network alerts related to switching and routing, escalating issues to the LM Engineering team when appropriate. Tools and platforms: Preferred exposure to the tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, vManage, Infoblox, CABO, DNAC, Data Dog, Entuity, RequestIT, OpenGear/Cradelpoint, Splunk, NARRS
