Role Overview:

Design, create, and publish content that is informative, concise, visually compelling, and a delight to consume
Create and maintain clear, understandable technical and feature documentation external use from a commercial end-user audience to enterprise admin audience
Collaborate with internal teams and partners, including engineers, product managers, and designers on documentation and provide input from an information perspective
Think critically and use data to inform content to ensure we remain true to customer information needs and make an impact
Collaborate with other authors and help lead others in upholding content standards, processes, and quality
Understand and evangelize the benefits of finding brevity and delivering the exact right content to meet the needs of the audience
Audit and evaluate existing content, and recommend changes and rewrite to meet brand guidelines and content standards

Responsible for designing, writing, revising and/or editing of technical and/or promotional papers (i.e., application papers, product descriptions, catalogs, manuals/guides, commercial applications, brochures, product articles, etc.). Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage. Information may be produced on hard copy or electronic medium. Performs tasks related to the construction of technical and non- technical illustrations and graphics. Attends planning/coordination meetings to assess customer requirements. Responsibilities may include: overseeing preparation of illustrative material, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts, supporting slide/video production, serving as editor on specific publications including article selection, artwork coordination, productions and distribution. May assist in preparation and layout of work for publication. Individuals act as internal experts, consultants, and program/project managers and represent the corporation to external groups, agencies, and vendors.
