Job Title: Product & Project Lead Airline

Job Summary:

The Product & Project Lead Airline will drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects that integrate advanced travel technologies into our platform. In this role, you will serve as the critical liaison between our Global Distribution System (GDS) partners and airline partners, ensuring robust technical coordination and fostering innovation. With an in-depth understanding of Global Distribution Systems, New Distribution Capability (NDC), and Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) systems, you will be instrumental in launching RezLive' s new air content initiative - an offering designed to enrich the travel booking experience for agents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project & Product Leadership:

> Lead cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-impact airline product initiatives.

> Oversee end-to-end project management processes, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

> Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business goals and airline partner requirements.

2. Technical Coordination:

> Act as the primary technical liaison between our Global Distribution System (GDS) partners and airline partners.

> Coordinate the integration of GDS, NDC, and LCC systems with the existing technology team.

> Ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability between various travel technology platforms.

3. Stakeholder Management:

> Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including airline partners, technology vendors, and internal teams, to align project goals.

> Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and stakeholders.

4. Strategy & Innovation:

> Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in travel technology solutions.

> Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations.

> Advocate for best practices and drive digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

> Lead the launch and integration of air content into RezLives platform, ensuring a smooth rollout and adoption among travel agents.

5. Risk & Issue Management:

> Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.

> Manage issues and escalations in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on project delivery.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

> Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, and status reports.

> Deliver post-project analysis and recommendations to continuously improve processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Educational Background:

> Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. A Masters degree is a plus.

2. Industry Experience:

> Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product and/or project management within the travel industry.

> Proven track record of managing complex travel technology projects, particularly involving GDS, NDC, and LCC systems.

2. Technical Proficiency:

> Strong understanding of travel technology ecosystems, including airline reservation systems and distribution channels.

> Experience working with APIs, integrations, and technical standards in the travel industry.

3. Project Management Skills:

> Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) with certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred).

> Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

4. Communication & Leadership:

> Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

> Strong leadership and team management skills.

5. Additional Skills:

> Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

> Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

> Familiarity with airline business operations and customer experience enhancement initiatives is highly desirable.
