Job Description
- As a Component Engineer you will be responsible for Performing fixing, analyzing failures, prepare root cause analysis and implement actions.
- Taking initiatives for improving process efficiency and living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking ownership for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
- Effectively interpreting various applicable international codes and standards along with Siemens internal standards.
- Applying knowledge of these standards for detail design of compressor components and handling project activities, schedule and budget using JIRA
- Preparing detailed Model and Drawing and handling engineering bill of materials using Siemens NX integrated with Teamcenter.
- Performing detail self-review and peer review, Participating and leading design reviews.
- Understanding the requirement of project and coordinating effectively with Distributed team.
- Identify and address deviations/issues in project in consultation with technical lead. Ensure quality and timely deliveries of engineering documentation.
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering or other comparable degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant engineering work experience
- Significant hands-on experience in working with Siemens NX and Teamcenter and experience in creating detailed manufacturing drawing using GDT as per ASME Y 14.5
- Excellent teammate to support and serve the global team. Ability to work independently with clarity on scope and responsibility.
- Ability to manage numerous projects and deadlines and high flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities.
- Proactive and Solution Oriented. Ability to Pull inputs and interact with interface partners.
- Knowledge on turbo machineries and their components will be added advantage.
