Job Description
- Review the contract document, obtain clarifications vide technical queries and ensure that all the team members are well aware of contract conditions.
- Discuss & formulate Execution Strategy & review Project Execution Plan.
- Attending meetings on critical issues with Client / Vendors / Class authorities / Construction Fabrication Yards / Project / other Engineering departments / Interface coordination / 3D Model Reviews / Constructability Review.
- Review Engineering Deliverables prior to issue.
- Shall concentrate on critical issue / area of concern & guide the team to mitigate the same.
- Monitor progress: Planned Vs Actual
- Report Delays / Area of concern to PM / PEM.
- Review of Module wise breakdown MTO.
- Review of Weight Control Report (WCR)
- Ensure to improve and update the check list based on various feedback during job execution.
- Identify and ensure implementation of lesson learnt in the past project.
- Forecast manpower requirement & take up measures for mobilization.
- Assess training needs & organize trainings.
- Manage and control engineering sub-contractors performance.
- Monitor & control Manhours of the project with respect to the budget.
- Ensure timely response to queries from owner / fabrication yards / vendors.
- Ensure change order notices with proper backup to PM / PEM.
- Ensure timely close out of Audit findings by the team.
- Ensure timely completion of job close-out report.
- Experience in the preparation of FEED & Detail Engineering of offshore works independently and carried out Checking /Review of deliverables
- Ensuring all deliverables are comply with quality as per relevant industry specifications & standards
- Experience in carrying out pre-service (Load out, sea transportation, lifting, launching, on bottom stability), and in-service analysis in-place, boat impact, pushover, blast design.
- Perform calculations in SACS in place analysis, local FEM analysis using nonlinear methods
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in SACS.
- Software's Excellent knowledge in AISC, API and DNV regulations.
