Job Description

Specific Business Domain FPSO Topside Detail Engineering/Offshore Engineering.
Below are primary roles and responsibilities
To study contract document and keep records.
To prepare job instruction & project specific procedures.
To arrange / attend engineering key meetings.
Interdisciplinary coordination within Toyo-I.
Follow up for input availability from Contractor for assigned modules.
Follow up for Vendor Data requirements and timing to meet HVEC schedule and coordination of needs.
Participate in Look-ahead Planning from Project Controls, understand drivers for module progress.
Schedule control of assigned modules.
MDR and Deliverable Tracking of assigned modules, highlight delayed deliverables and work with discipline leads to understand impact to ROS dates.
Tracking of 30%, 60% and 90% Model Review requirements & checklists, Track Model review comments and its completion.
Establish ownership of module progress rather than discipline progress.
Input on Module Progress - plan, actual and forecast.
Participate in coordination sessions with Fabrication Yard (TQ response and close-out tracking from Yard, Request for Information from Yard).
Ensure development of Hold list with plan to resolve holds.
To prepare project master schedule with the help of Project Planning Department and control project activities accordingly.
To prepare and measure the target progress and the actual project progress. To monitor the progress and to take corrective action wherever required.
Preparation of Billing Schedules & invoicing to Client.
To arrange / attend interdepartmental meetings, meetings with client, meetings with vendors, site meetings and take appropriate action.
Prepare and monitor department wise pending point list, on weekly basis for controlling design inputs and monitor overall project schedule.
To prepare project budget and project cash flow and update it periodically for effective cost control.
To assess the effects on cost, schedule and man hours prior to issue of ERI/ECN depending upon the status of work affected by.
To maintain the records of ERI/ECNs and all related documents on the basis of which a decision regarding design change is taken.
To maintain the record of change requests, raise Change Notices, Change Proposals and Finalize Change Orders with Client.
To raise invoice for extra claims, follow up with customer for the settlement and payment.
To co-ordinate POP activities with the customer, licensor, vendors, all in house departments, as applicable, sub-contractors and yards for timely completion of project.
To submit final documents and drawings as per contract terms to the customer.
Giving inputs to PCM and PM.
To prepare Project Close out report.
Get the total listing of vendor documents from the selected vendor(s) for each requisition / PO in which vendor review is involved and later maintain the updated status of VDR.
Making Extension of Time (EOT) request and taking up with Client for finalization.
Keeping records of Owner delaying inputs, Milestones, Documents related to Force Majeure and keeping track of Completion activities which are specifically required to be completed before receiving Owner's Inputs,etc.
