Manager / Assistant Manager - Content Production

Role & responsibilities

1. Content Creation and Production:

• Develop, shoot, record, and edit high-quality video and audio content for various platforms, including websites, social media, webinars, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and execute content ideas that support brand goals and campaigns.
• Manage the full production process, including scripting, storyboarding, lighting, camera work, sound recording, and post-production editing.

2. In-House Studio Management:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the in-house studio, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that the studio is organized and ready for use.
• Set up and manage lighting, cameras, microphones, and other production equipment for video and audio shoots.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during recording sessions to ensure smooth production workflow.

3. Video Production:

• Shoot and edit a variety of video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, interviews, product demos, and event coverage.
• Edit video footage to produce polished, professional-grade content that meets brand standards, including colour correction, audio enhancement, and motion graphics.
• Create engaging visual narratives that resonate with the target audience and enhance the brands online presence.

4. Audio Production:

• Record and edit high-quality audio for podcasts, voiceovers, interviews, and other content types.
• Mix and master audio tracks to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional sound quality.
• Collaborate with voice talent and other team members to produce audio content that aligns with the overall creative vision.

5. Post-Production and Editing:

• Utilize editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, or similar tools to create final versions of video and audio content.
• Add graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance the overall impact of the content.
• Ensure all content is optimized for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, websites, and internal channels.

6. Content Strategy and Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure that all video and audio content aligns with the brands messaging and marketing strategy.
• Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas for content that engages and informs the target audience.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in video and audio production to continually improve the quality of content.

7. Project Management:

• Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and that all content is delivered on time and within budget.
• Organize and archive all video and audio files, maintaining a structured workflow for easy access and retrieval.
• Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers when necessary to support larger-scale productions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in video and audio production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in shooting, recording, and editing.
• Proficiency in video and audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or similar tools.
• Experience with camera operation, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment in a studio environment.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and sound design.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
