Java Technical Lead | CloudKeeper

Role & responsibilities

• Developing intelligent and scalable engineering solutions from scratch
• Partnering with the customers to share product vision and goals
• Working on high/low-level product designs & roadmaps along with a team of ace developers
• (S)he will be responsible for server-side component designing, detailed technical design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Building products and applications using razor-edge technologies on Open source Java tech stack, HTML5, Backbone.js, Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc
• (S)he will also review and understand business requirements ensuring that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience managing a team of 5+ developers.
• Expertise in SpringBoot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Well-versed in Microservices Architecture and Distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, Gradle).
• Familiar with best coding practices, code reviews, and tools like SonarQube.
• Proficiency with relational (preferably MySQL) and NoSQL (preferably MongoDB) databases.
• Familiar with caching (preferably Redis) and queuing systems (preferably RabbitMQ).
• Experience working in Agile environments, using tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native services.
• Exposure to Security Best Practices for backend systems (authentication, authorization, encryption).
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including profiling and tuning
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) for performance tracking and alerting.
