Role Description:

Project Manager - Automation

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Project Manager with sharp analytical abilities and a keen interest in operations and automation. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. The ideal candidate will be an MBA graduate from a premier institution with a passion for the automation industry and a strong aptitude for project management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take full ownership of managing and controlling project scope, cost, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.

- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, effectively addressing delicate situations and managing conflicts to maximize opportunities while minimizing risks.

- Exhibit strong planning and organizational skills to efficiently manage tasks and ensure projects are completed as expected.

- Apply sharp analytical thinking to assess and prioritize tasks, motivate teams, and optimize resource allocation to meet tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

- Proactively manage project changes and maintain a high-performing team to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded.

- Utilize MS Projects and possess a solid understanding of critical path and critical chain project management techniques.

- Deeply understand customer needs, set realistic expectations, and establish clear customer satisfaction standards, consistently monitoring progress.

- Apply systematic problem-solving techniques to resolve complex issues, identify opportunities for improvements, and drive performance enhancements.

- Make timely, independent decisions aligned with project priorities and business goals.

Right person:

- Less than a year to 3 years of experience in managing machine-related and automation projects.

- MBA degree from a premier institution with a focus on operations, project management, or related fields.

- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Projects.

- PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is a plus.
