TITLE Deputy Manager - Legal DIVISION Legal and Secretarial
REPORTING TO Deputy Group Manager – Legal at RON.
DIRECT REPORTEE NIL
QUALIFICATIONS LL.B. from a reputed law school
EXPERIENCE Looking out for an enthusiastic and optimistic professional, with 4-6
years’ experience in any leading Corporate and reputed Indian
Companies ranging from manufacturing, retail, real estate, or FMCG
industry and have eagerness to learn varieties of complex legal matters
with a strong passion for excellence, punctuality, contagious enthusiasm.
Must have attention to detail and excellent research skills.
• Research on legal domain areas of various laws & advise suitably. POSITION GOALS AND • Assist in drafting of all agreements, negotiations on agreements &
KEY PERFORMANCE
finalisation of contracts relating to business of the Company. INDICATORS
• Assist in successful closure of documents/agreements
/notices/cases and replies from legal perspective. • Assist in handling regional litigations
DUTIES & In the role, the following indicative list of responsibilities are included, but
RESPONSIBILITIES not limited to:
• Assist in drafting legal documents such as Franchise Agreements,
Agency Agreements, Retail Agreements, LoIs, MoUs, Lease Deeds,
Leave & License Agreements, Advertising Agreements, Service
Agreements etc.
• Assist in due diligence of property title documents
• Assist in assessment of stamp duty and registration fee calculation
and getting registrations done on Company properties.
• Assist in represent Company at contract negotiations on legal issues.
• Research skills & keep abreast of and inform business units on
relevant developments in marketing and retail industry such as
Court ruling/s or legislative amendment/s.
• Assist in drafting replies to legal notices/issues including consumer
issues, draft and review of pleadings in litigations.
• Assist & provide inputs in operational matters to ensure desired
support to the business.
• Support/attend all litigations/cases filed by and against the
Company.

and ability to Research • Be capable of making legal researches and legal recommendations to
resolve problems or improve process.
Relationship Building Promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors,
peers and clients (internal & external).

• High level of technical competence with ability to work on number of
computer applications including Microsoft Office and Google
applications (Excel / Sheets, Word / Docs and PPT /slides) etc.
