Engineer/Sr. Engineer- Purchase & Vendor Development

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of supplier selection procedure for purchasing of any material.
• Knowledge of Engineering Plastic material for Injection Molding Machine & steel for Toolroom Molds.
• Knowledge of GST and commercial activity, Local and Import purchase & Documents preparation for IATF certificate
• Manage purchase planning, material management, and vendor development activities to ensure timely delivery of materials at competitive prices.
• Develop strategies for price negotiation with vendors to optimize costs and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to purchasing operations.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and customer needs to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the automobile industry or manufacturing sector.
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Working on SAP is Mandatory.
