Job Overview:

The Assistant Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality materials and ingredients. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost control to support our production and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
• Support the evaluation and selection of suppliers.
• Help negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in procurement.
• Assist in resolving supply chain disruptions and quality issues.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other departments to support procurement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
• Experience with inventory management and supplier evaluation.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
