Loan Team Leader

Position Overview: The Loan Manager is responsible for overseeing the loan processing operations, managing a team of Loan Coordinators, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. This role requires leadership skills, a deep understanding of loan workflows, and the ability to drive operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor the loan coordination team.

Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, resolve issues, and align efforts towards achieving targets.

Oversee loan processing to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Address operational bottlenecks and streamline workflows.

Maintain relationships with loan partners and sales teams.

Hold regular meetings with finance partners to discuss improvements and terms.

Ensure loan submissions comply with regulatory and partner guidelines.

Conduct quality checks to maintain processing standards.

Onboard new finance partners and define terms of collaboration.

Ensure accuracy in team records and publish MIS reports.

Identify areas for improvement and implement efficient processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan processing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong understanding of loan workflows, compliance requirements, and quality assurance practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and workflow management tools.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address process inefficiencies
