Job Overview:
The Team Lead, AI Automation is responsible for managing and overseeing a high-performing team focused on the document extraction process. This role requires a strong leadership presence to ensure that the team consistently delivers high-quality results, maintains excellent customer satisfaction, and meets organizational goals. You will work closely with senior leadership to report on team performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and mentor team members to drive performance.
As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the team s culture, building its capabilities, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 10-15 individuals focused on document extraction. Ensure the team works cohesively to meet departmental goals and KPIs.
  • Strategic Planning: Meet regularly with senior leadership to develop and report on strategic plans for team objectives, ensuring alignment with the organization s vision and goals.
  • Document Review Oversight: Oversee the preparation, compilation, and sorting of documents for data capture. Verify and log receipt of data accurately.
  • Performance Monitoring: Measure the teams performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure quality standards and productivity are met.
  • Client/Customer Management: Monitor customer and client satisfaction levels. Address any issues or concerns by liaising with senior leadership and clients.
  • Training Development: Identify process or knowledge gaps and recommend solutions. Organize refresher trainings, PKTs, and other learning opportunities based on team and quality feedback.
  • Process Improvement: Regularly assess processes and suggest improvements to make workflows more efficient and scalable. Ensure best practices are being followed.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external calibrations with the audit team and customers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Team Communication: Conduct regular team updates and feedback sessions to align team goals with customer expectations and internal objectives.
  • Reporting: Send progress and performance reports (MIS) to senior leadership on the status of ongoing activities and key performance indicators.
  • Client Stakeholder Interactions: Handle internal and client calls as required, ensuring all client concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Employee Engagement: Conduct 1-on-1s and daily connects with employees to understand challenges, provide guidance, and resolve bottlenecks.
Skills Tools:
  • Mandatory Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the document review process (or equivalent related field).
    • Minimum 2 years of team management experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a similar domain.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven experience in conducting performance reviews and appraisals.
    • Experience with inventory management and workforce management (WFM).
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to drive team-building initiatives and maintain a positive team culture.
    • Excellent client/customer handling skills.
    • Ability to work across multiple shifts.
    • Experience with document extraction software, and knowledge of upskilling and training processes.
