Senior Qa Automation Test Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• You will be documenting test cases, automating test scenarios, perform manual testing of a UI application along with database code (SAP SQL Anywhere and MS SQL Server) and writing TDDs/BDDs for JAVA services
• Enhance engineering standards for testing, tooling, and processes to improve quality and efficiency
• Work with offshore development teams to ensure the quality of new features and scalability of applications
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring clean, secure, and reusable code
• Utilize advanced tools and techniques for performance testing
• Strategize testing approaches for multiple development projects, providing direction on software testing and quality assurance processes ▪ Help train and onboard other team members when needed
• Youll be working closely with product and program managers to understand requirements and advance our agile development practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in delivering quality software products, automating tests, performance testing (JMeter)
• Experience with SQL (any RDBMS), Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of JSON and XML data formats ▪ Proficient in several technologies, including Java
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS is a plus
• Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to automate testing of high-traffic, low response time APIs and conduct end-to-end integration testing
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Mockito, Ccumber, Junit
• Experience with End to End testing which includes multiple services/products ▪ Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse team
• Comfortable in Agile, Kanban, or similar modern development environments
