Role & responsibilities

• Mechanical Process Engineer to work as a team of task force team executing large projects having multiple CFBC or WHRB Boilers with auxiliaries on turnkey basis.
• Work out HMBD, material balance diagrams and select the STG and Boiler parameters. Prepare STG specifications and interact with respective for optimizing and closure of the package.
• Preparing load list of the entire Balance of Plant systems
• Conceptualization of systems viz., raw water system, water OEMs treatment system, cooling water system, fuel handling system, HVAC, Firefighting system.
• Preparing individual system design basis document, preparing specifications and firming up the system requirement with respective system suppliers.
• Review vendor documents, drawings and co-ordinate with end customer / consultants and approve them.
• Conceptualize plant layout, optimize the layout, give inputs for civil engineering, and detail engineering.
• Ensure seamless interface engineering between various discipline-engineering departments.
• Participate in internal project review meetings and work toward removing bottle legs in the execution.
• Visit site on need basis in trouble shooting exercise and meet the project goals.
• Train and develop the engineering project team

Package equipment: Condensers / Heat Exchangers / AC & Ventilation Fire Protection / Coal handling System / Ash handling system

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven hands on experience as BOP mechanical process engineer in large projects of value 150 crs plus
• Minimum 4 to 10 years experience in Engineering, especially in thermal power plants.
• In-depth understanding of all engineering disciplines including construction and should be able to lead his team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Graduate engineering in Mechanical or Chemical engineering. MTech will be an added advantage.
