DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Tools (5-8 yrs)

Devops role :

- 5+ years with strong DevOps background.

- At least 4+ year of experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines to fully automated CI build processes for multiple development technologies (Java/Hybris/JS/Python/.NetCore/.Net) and deployment of applications.

- Extensive experience working with Jenkins and Scripted Pipeline/ Shared Pipeline Libraries is mandatory.

- Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub actions, Artifactory, SonarQube, Octopus Deploy, Docker, K8s, OpenShift.

- Experience with system provisioning and configuration management automation (Ansible).

- Extensive working experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems.

- Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies including Scrum/Kanban.

- Hands on Groovy Scripting is mandatory.

- Experience in using defect and project tracking tools (JIRA).

- Experience with OSS Management (BlackDuck, FOSSID) and Vulnerabilities Scanning.

- Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines : Automate build, testing, and deployment processes for technologies like Java, Hybris, JavaScript, Python, .NetCore, and .Net using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.

- Infrastructure Automation : Manage system provisioning and configuration with Ansible on Linux/Unix and Windows systems.

- Containerization and Orchestration : Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for scalability and reliability.

- Code Quality and Security : Integrate tools like SonarQube, Artifactory, BlackDuck, and FOSSID for code quality, dependency management, and vulnerability scanning.

- Collaboration and Agile Practices : Work closely with development and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality applications.

- Monitoring and Optimization : Set up monitoring systems, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize performance across environments.

- Scripting and Automation : Develop Groovy scripts and reusable libraries to enhance efficiency in pipeline processes.

- Documentation and Support : Maintain documentation, manage project tracking with JIRA, and provide troubleshooting support for CI/CD systems.
