Thoucentric - Business Analyst/Engineer - SaaS Platform (0-1 yrs)

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst/ Engineer with 1-3years of experience in configuring SaaS products or solutions, ideally within the financial services or fintech domain. The ideal candidate should have the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

- Configure and customize SaaS-based solutions to meet client requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Develop, test, and deploy configuration changes, including workflows, business rules, and system

settings.

- Perform data mapping and configure integrations with external systems via APIs or other interfaces.

- Monitor and validate the configuration changes to ensure they meet functional and performance standards.

- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for development teams.

- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure configurations meet business needs.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, development, and quality assurance teams.

- Assist in preparing user guides, training materials, and presentations for end-users.

- Provide post-implementation support to clients, addressing configuration or integration issues.

- Continuously monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.

Requirements :

Technical Skills:

- Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and configuration tools.

- Strong understanding of business process workflows.

- Experience in data mapping, workflow configuration, and system settings management.

- Basic knowledge of APIs and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML) is a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools; familiarity with project management tools like Jira or equivalent is an advantage.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 1-3 years of experience configuring SaaS-based products/solutions.

- Exposure to or experience in the financial services or fintech domain is highly desirable.
