What is expected of you?
As part of the job, you will be required to :
- Assess current application features and workflows to determine migration requirements.
- Develop comprehensive migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with migration objectives.

Responsibilities :
- Develop a comprehensive migration plan, outlining the approach, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess the current application landscape and identify dependencies.
- Analyze existing application functionalities and translate them into ServiceNow compatible features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and prioritize migration efforts.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, including forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and integrations, to replicate existing application features.
- Design and implement data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the transfer to ServiceNow.
- Develop data mapping and transformation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems as required.
- Utilize REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the migrated functionalities and ensure they meet business requirements.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the migration process, including design specifications, configuration settings, and user manuals.
- Work closely with application developers, IT operations teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a successful migration.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the migrated functionalities within ServiceNow.
- Provide post-migration support and address any issues that arise.
- Monitor system performance and stability.
Technical Skills :
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules (especially ITSM), and development best practices.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow application development and customization (workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, etc.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (client-side and server-side) and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods.
- Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge of application development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experience with testing and validation processes.
Preferred Skills :
- ServiceNow certifications (System Administrator, Application Developer).
- Experience with specific ServiceNow modules relevant to the applications being migrated.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with ServiceNow.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application development, with a focus on ServiceNow development and migrations
