Roles and Responsibilities
- Should able to examine in detail the design and manufacturing specifications of client companies, except codes and standards, and reflect them on the design
- Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in sizing of various rolling mill machinery as required, which shall be in conformance with client and or company specifications, governing codes, good engineering practices, good safety practices, project procedures, and job requirements.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering drawings
- Preparing bill of material. Testing of machines. Preparation of operating & instruction manual. Maintaining depth record as per ISO 9000 & 14000.
- Preparation of technical documents
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Help in new projects and ventures
- On site visits and work
- Coordination with various departments
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Design of d equipment on software like sold works, Auto Cad -2D and3D, Creo.
Requirements
- Technical field degree preferably Mechanical
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- Willing to go extra mile to complete on hand task
- Team player
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in rolling mill operations is required.
