Responsibility Reporting to: Mechanical Installations and Tenders

Duties:

1. Prepare tenders and evaluations for various Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting and A/C works

2. To prepare and keep updated a database of Mechanical suppliers, subcontractors etc.

3. To submit enquiries and obtain quotations for materials and subcontracted works. A minimum of 3 quotations are required for any item/activity.

4. To organise the Mechanical works on site and allocate the appropriate personnel in order to meet the programme requirements.

5. To supervise the Mechanical works on site.

6. To Liaise closely with all the Project Engineers and make them aware of any variations related to Mechanical Works on site.

7. To Liaise closely with other trades of the company to manage and follow instructions.

8. To prepare O+M Manuals and 'As-Built drawings & shop drawings as per contract requirements.

9. To make sure the works are carried out to the highest possible standard and within the costs allowed in our tender on time.

10. To Liaise with Government Authorities in order to obtain necessary permissions/approvals/NOC for temporary as well as permanent connections. These Authorities are Civil Defence, Municipality, Sewage and Water Department etc.

11. To Develop the A/C Department with the aim to carryout small A/C works in-house.

12. To carry out any other related jobs assigned by the company's management.

13. Minimum qualification of Diploma.

14. Minimum 5 years Gulf experience in a similar role.
