Marketing Manager-Sugar

A leading manufacture industry is seeking an efficient Marketing Managers to develop and execute a result-oriented marketing strategy to promote Sugar Plant machineries and turnkey projects. He should possess in depth technical knowledge of sugar plant equipments including its functionality, advantages more specific to the products of the company.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of a marketing manager include the following:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Marketing manager is a senior-level position that involves leading, supervising and managing marketing teams, develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve companys objectives.
• He should have a strong marketing expertise aligning with the companys values and enhance companys brand awareness to customers and increase companys business.
• Marketing Manager should coordinate with the Design / Procurement department on the product / project details and estimate to arrive at an accurate costing.
• Provide accurate estimates balancing targeted margins with the potential risks and uncertainties during execution stage.
• Should have a versatile skillset covering areas like market trend analysis, customer analysis, product promotion and sales & business development techniques.
• Marketing manager conducts market analysis, identify and target potential customers, understands their needs and implement effective strategies to achieve the business objectives and marketing targets.
• Marketing manager is responsible for the marketing promotional activities like participation in domestic/international seminars / expo’s to showcase and promote company’s products, updation of company’s web site, designing of marketing materials - product brochures and company’s advertisements etc.
• Preparing and managing the marketing budget
• Coordinating marketing efforts with cross-functional teams like procurement, engineering and projects.

Qualifications : B.E.(Mechanical) / B.E (Electrical) /B.E(Chemical)

Additional degree / diploma in Sugar Engineering /Technology (Desirable)

Experience :

Candidates should have atleast 10+ years of experience in sugar industry with specific experience in the Marketing / Sales department dealing with products in the sugar industry as well as turn key sugar projects – Cane preparation, Milling & Process House.
