Food & Beverage Service Intern

Role & responsibilities:

• Greet and assist corporate clients and staff with warmth and professionalism, ensuring their comfort at all times.
• Set up and manage buffet services efficiently, ensuring timely replenishment and presentation standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests as per pre-determined service protocols, with an emphasis on precision and courtesy.
• Monitor the freshness, presentation, and quantity of food items available for service, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to place accurate orders, avoiding excess or shortage of food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and service areas, adhering to institutional catering standards.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests.
• Provide prompt and attentive service during corporate events, meetings, and special occasions.
• Display professional etiquette and communication in interactions with clients and colleagues.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Students currently pursuing or recently completed a course in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Individuals with a keen interest in learning about institutional catering and corporate food and beverage services.
• Candidates with good communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional attitude.
• Applicants who can commit to the full internship duration and are eager to work in a high-paced, professional environment.
• Prior exposure to food service operations through academics or part-time work (preferred but not mandatory).
