Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities for the institutional catering sector.
  • Proactively seek out new leads through various channels such as industry events, networking, and digital tools.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers with detailed and accurate information.
  • Conduct cold calls, schedule meetings, and engage with prospective clients to present the companys offerings.
  • Meet clients in person to showcase products/services, conduct presentations, and address their requirements effectively.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders to build trust and ensure successful conversions.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and value proposition during client interactions.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to align with business objectives while meeting client needs.
  • Close sales deals efficiently, ensuring both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Gather and share insights on market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, including client data, activities, and outcomes, using CRM tools.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
  • Travel extensively for client meetings and fieldwork to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or aviation industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
