Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of 8-10 hotels/hostels and ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of each property. The role involves managing multiple facets of hotel operations, including staffing, guest experience, maintenance, financial performance, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), all while maintaining alignment with the company's strategic vision and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee hotel operations in your region, ensuring adherence to company standards in guest services, housekeeping, front desk, F&B, and maintenance.
• Training, and development, fostering a positive work environment aligned with company culture and standards.
• Negotiate with vendors and coordinate with local authorities to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services and compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to monitor service quality, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage P&L for each hotel, optimize resource usage, and improve profitability through cost-effective strategies.
• Support hotel launches and property setups, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness.
• Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, implementing service improvements, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Work with internal departments to resolve operational issues and align on business objectives.
• Build relationships with industry professionals to stay updated on trends and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions.
• Proven track record of successfully scaling teams, managing diverse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on customer service excellence.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, or Malayalam is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and manage properties across various locations as required.
