Associate/Sr Associate - MIS

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Business Analyst will be responsible for leveraging AI-powered tools embedded in Excel to drive efficient data analysis and generate actionable insights that support sales decision-making. The role involves advanced reporting, insight generation, and visualization using AI-driven technologies for fast and efficient analysis of large datasets.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Business performance reporting through data analysis:
- Utilize AI-based apps and tools embedded in Excel to analyze large datasets and identify sales opportunities across different geographies, brands, and product packs.
2) Insight generation and advanced analytics:
- Use AI tools to derive key insights from sales data, uncovering trends across Regions/SKU and providing actionable recommendations to sales managers for effective planning and decision-making.
- Work closely with the sales team to share insights generated from AI-driven analysis, focusing on emerging trends and the performance of channel partners.
- Create performance dashboards and business classification metrics using AI to automatically prioritize and classify data for easier analysis and decision-making.
- Preparation and analysis of daily, monthly & annual dashboard and reports that assist in business planning and deployment.
- Perform data mining activities of gathering and compiling data to make a thorough analysis and to extract the relevant information through Internal (SAS LEAP ) & External (POS data & Nielsen ) data sources
3) Soft Skills:

-Leverage AI tools embedded in Excel to automatically convert data into PowerPoint presentations, complete with visual representations and charts, for clear and impactful communication with senior management.

-Storyboard data to turn complex analysis into compelling narratives that highlight key insights and business recommendations.
4) Admin support to sales team:

- Prepare & maintain data related to all claims, incentive working, on roll employee details

5)Data Analysis, Make Reports and Presentations:

-Feed large volumes of data into AI systems to generate reports in minutes, eliminating the need for manual formulas in Excel and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

-Automate the preparation of daily, monthly, and annual reports, ensuring that they are based on the most accurate and relevant data.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Engineering degree (BE) with 5+ years of experience working with large volumes of data in any industry.
• Expertise in using AI-based tools and applications embedded in Excel for data analysis and reporting, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Strong understanding of advanced data analytics tools and their integration with AI to create reports, presentations, and visualizations.
• Proven track record in handling large datasets, comparing historical data with current trends, and deriving actionable insights for business planning and sales strategies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Expertise in using AI-based tools, especially those embedded in MS Excel, to derive insights and generate reports without relying on traditional formulas.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI, and AI-based platforms for data analysis and visualization.
• Ability to quickly feed large datasets into AI systems and generate reports and presentations in a matter of minutes.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and at least two regional languages, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with integrating AI tools like ChatGPT in Excel and PowerPoint for advanced analytics.

Team player: Will use data analytics to ensure generation of right insights from the data, helping in micro and macro level decision-making and solutions

The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams for the above goal.
