Consultant - Network & Security

• Design and prepare integrated solutions utilizing newest Microsoft products plus technologies.
• Interpret relevant application development, operations, and infrastructure implications of developed solution.
• Utilize architect solutions to map clients business issues to an end-to-end technology solution.
• Analyze and ensure to correct performance issues.
• Test and analyze assets for potential security threats.
• Identify possible security threats and determine the best security measures.
• Compile and present reports on the test results. Suggest improvements to existing security systems.
• Run risk assessment and security tests and design countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible.
• Remain up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
• Ensure to customize every consulting engagement to serve customer unique needs.
• Present Microsoft technology solutions by evaluation, suggest development and execution of software tasks driven by client requirements.
• Convey and report project status to all C-level executives plus IT management inclusive of budget, risks, and issues.
• Respond quickly to customer requests for immediate issues during driving projects to completion.
• Drive to develop Infrastructure Practice and approach to customer delivery.
• Perform with varied consultants and participate actively to conduct expectation process.
• Interpret business needs plus requirements and facilitate goals conversion into concrete projects along with detailed proposals.
• Ensure to contribute to business development cycle as infrastructure consultancy expert.
• Prepare work plans, price forecasts and risk evaluation for prospects.
• Develop professional network plus affiliate network in local community.
• On-call point person to respond to all critical production issues.
• Work in UK/US shift time and rotate shift timings when required.

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• 3-5 Years experience in Network administration and security.
• Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills.
• Excellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the business's requirements.
• Sound understandingISO 27001 standards.
• Must have knowledge of ITIL, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory (Design, Security and Administration), Messaging (Microsoft O365, Archiving, Unified Communications), Networking technologies and concepts etc.
• Experience with Amazon AWS EC2, VPC, Elastic Load Balancers, Elastic Block Store, S3, Route53, CloudWatch, Network Peering, Containers etc.
• Good to have experience of Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Network Peering, Storage Accounts.
• Experience in building servers using Amazon EC2 instances adding EBS storage, assigning elastic IPs, creating VPC and user access management.
• Setup/Manage Databases on Amazon RDS.
• Monitor servers through Amazon Cloud Watch.
• Set up Virtual Private Cloud with different subnets, RT, IGW, NAT.
• Sound understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN).
• Sound understanding of Firewalls, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewalls.
• Proven understanding and application of Cloud Infrastructure and Applications Monitoring concepts.
• Knowledge of Scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Python, JSON, YAML.
• Sound understanding of Identity Access Management.
• Must have knowledge of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, VMWare 5/ Hyper V, firewalls and load balancers, IT security and Data protection, Cloud and mobile technology, Citrix and Citrix Meta frame, PowerShell scripting (Desirable), telecoms, etc.A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies is essential.
