SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, demonstrating expertise in implementing, configuring, and maintaining these systems. This role requires a blend of technical and analytical skills to support our financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

- Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules according to project requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of business processes within the finance domain, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to document functional specifications and develop necessary product modifications.
- Testing and Support: Prepare and execute unit testing and user acceptance testing scripts; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO modules.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize the SAP FICO functionalities effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design, configuration, and specifications; update all documentation as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP consultants to ensure proper integration of FICO with other SAP modules; participate in cross-module support initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage module scope and assist in the preparation, conceptualization, realization, and go-live phases of customer implementation projects.
- User Support: Act as a point of contact for user queries related to SAP FICO; provide ongoing support during month-end close activities.

Required Skills

- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including configuration and testing; familiarity with S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex business requirements effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Proven experience working in a team-oriented environment; ability to lead workshops and collaborate across departments.
- Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant or in a similar role within the finance domain.
- Experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of SAP FICO solutions.
- Familiarity with financial accounting processes, reporting standards, and compliance regulations.
