SAP MM Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Consultant with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the SAP Materials Management (MM) module, optimizing procurement and inventory processes, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Customize and configure the SAP MM module to meet specific business requirements.
- Define organizational structures, procurement processes, and inventory management procedures.
- Create and maintain master data, including material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records.

- Integration:
- Ensure proper integration of the SAP MM module with other modules such as Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure overall system functionality.

- Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing support for the SAP MM module, resolving issues as they arise.
- Conduct system upgrades and ensure the SAP system is up-to-date with the latest patches.

- User Training and Documentation:
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Document configurations, processes, and system changes for knowledge transfer.

- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices to enhance procurement and inventory management efficiency.

Required Skills
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the SAP MM module, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Familiarity with ABAP for debugging and minor enhancements.

- Business Skills:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.

- Analytical Skills:
- Proficient in problem-solving and data analysis to implement effective solutions.
- Capability to optimize business processes for increased efficiency.

- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate user training and support.

- Project Management:
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in leading projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams during implementation.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP MM consulting or related roles.
- Experience in full project lifecycle implementations of the SAP MM module is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in SAP MM or related fields are a plus.
