Cloud Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager Cloud DevOps to join our dynamic team. As a key leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, automating workflows, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms.
• Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices.
• DevOps Practices:
• Promote and implement DevOps principles and methodologies throughout the organization.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to streamline workflows and reduce time-to-market.
• Operational Task Automation:
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
• Leverage tools like Terraform and Other scripting languages to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
• Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Github)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Certifications related to cloud platforms or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
