Marketing - Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Marketing Manager to spearhead the marketing, sales, and project execution for Filter Resistors & Power Resistors within the Power Transmission Segment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, with a strong ability to drive business growth and manage customer relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development:

• Evaluate, formulate, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Filter Resistors and Power Resistors in the Power Transmission sector.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities to enhance product visibility and sales.

Business Development and Opportunity Identification:

• Proactively identify and assess new business opportunities, creating compelling business cases for potential growth.
• Present business opportunities to key stakeholders and drive action plans to convert prospects into successful orders.

Costing & Bid Management:

• Lead the preparation of cost estimates and submit competitive proposals to customers in response to RFQs.
• Compile and manage detailed, accurate, and comprehensive bids for customers, ensuring alignment with technical and financial expectations.

Contract Negotiation and Finalization:

• Manage negotiations with customers to finalize contracts and purchase orders, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
• Resolve any contractual or commercial issues, while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Customer Project Execution:

• Maintain consistent and effective communication with customers to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
• Address customer concerns or queries promptly, ensuring a smooth project delivery process.

Payment Management:

• Engage regularly with customers to ensure the timely receipt of payments, proactively following up on outstanding invoices and resolving any payment issues.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and finance, to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and partners, to support business objectives.

Techno-Commercial Expertise:

• Leverage a solid understanding of Power Grid Contracts, and demonstrate expertise in both technical and commercial aspects to guide decision-making and project success.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

1. Experience handling Power Grid Contracts with a proven track record of success.
2. Experience in managing HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) and FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) projects will be highly preferred.
3. Strong technical background in Power Transmission and related industries.
4. Proven experience in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
